The first single hit pretty hard then they, of course, slid into obscurity. Take a peek at the lead-off track complete with a PSA from the <a href="http://www.svrep.org/" target="_blank">Southwest Voter Registration Education Project</a>. It was 1996.</p>

Of course I had a few lying around as a kid. Random copies of&nbsp;<em><a href="http://www.dccomics.com/sites/superman/" target="_blank">Superman</a></em>, <em><a href="http://www.newkadia.com/?Lone_Ranger_Comic-Books=2256" target="_blank">The Lone Ranger</a></em>, <em><a href="http://www.archiecomics.com/" target="_blank">Archie</a></em> - but I never collected them or pledged any amount of allegience to one specific hero. In retrospect it seems a bit abnormal. Oh well.</p>
<p><strong>*Note:</strong> I always had a stack of <em><a href="http://www.dccomics.com/mad/" target="_blank">Mad Magazines</a></em> laying around. I spent my allowance money on it every month - but that's satire, not a true comic. Also, the shot below is from the Lone Ranger mini-comic that you got whenever you bought a <a href="http://www.plaidstallions.com/gabriel/loneranger.html" target="_blank">Lone Ranger action figure</a>. I had a few of these.</p>

No knock on Lin, the kids got game - but the league is overexposing him in an effort to draw attention back to a game that was once full of legends....and is now overrun by half-baked college dropouts. Dig.</p>
